Fire/ Security Alarm Technician
We are seeking a Fire and Security Alarm Technician to join our dynamic and growing team! In this unique role, you will have the opportunity to travel to various locations and job sites, installing or repairing a diverse range of residential and commercial fire and security systems. This can include safes, locks of all types, access control, CCTV, remotes, and more. The ideal candidate has experience with commercial and residential fire and security installation or similar electronic products, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and analytical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Travel to various locations and ascertain their specific needs
- Troubleshoot problems in fire and security systems and make repairs or replacements
- Install new fire and security systems, including electronic locks, alarms, CCTVs, and more
- Maintain appropriate equipment and restock vehicles and supplies as needed
- Maintain excellent, accurate logs of work completed at all time
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the security industry field desired
- A low-voltage electrical license
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and listening skills
- State-issued driver's license
- Industry and manufacturer certifications are a plus
